The Growth of the Robert A. Macoskey Center

Since it's creation by Dr. Robert A. Macoskey in 1990, the Robert A. Macoskey Center (RAMC) has served Slippery Rock University and the community as a hub for all things sustainability. They've made strides in integrating the people around them with the environment through their community outreach and educational programs. Located on Harmony Road in Slippery Rock, PA, the Macoskey Center is a direct extension of the Slippery Rock University campus. They work with SRU professors to provide students with hands-on learning opportunities in nature and the world of sustainability. The Macoskey Center is also open to the public. Everyine is welcome to visit their hiking trails or pick up some fresh free-range chicken eggs.



This Earth Day, April 23, 2022, the Macoskey Center is hosting Earth Fest. The event will feature food, a local vendors market, DIY Workshops, and more!
